Three unique ‘garden rooms’ thoughtfully connect this graceful Edwardian home to the outdoors. Each space has its own micro-climate, featuring plants selected as much for their orientation towards the sun as for visual impact through colour, texture and seasonal change. A sunny ‘garden room’ is layered with perennials, smoke bush and ornamental grasses; an ‘entertaining room’ is draped with crimson glory vine and a copse of crepe myrtles; and a ‘semi-shaded room’ is centred around a Japanese maple. Designed in collaboration with Zwei Interiors and Architecture, this stylish and refined project makes the most of a new pavilion’s vast windows and doors, inviting the garden into a home where the outdoors are visible from every room.
