Studio
Caroline Hyett Gardens and Design was founded in 2013. Our approach to design blurs the lines between architecture, sculpture and gardens. We believe in the power of great designs to enhance people’s lives. We create balanced, welcoming spaces that flow, provide an effortless connection between your home and garden, and work sympathetically with the architecture of your home. We are committed to sustainability, and design for the smallest inner-city spaces to significantly larger gardens in Melbourne and regional Victoria.
People
Caroline Hyett
Caroline is a passionate and highly adaptive designer. She takes a collaborative approach to all her garden designs, and turns her clients wishes and ideas into beautiful outdoor spaces for joyful gatherings, and/or oases of calm.
Caroline creates modern and naturalistic gardens that suit their context. She seamlessly integrates a broad range of plants and palettes to evoke the feel of wild nature with bold drifts of perennials and ornamental grasses. Every space is designed to be timeless, sustainable, and provide seasonal interest with colour, texture and scent.
Caroline is a Designer Member with Landscaping Victoria ‘Master Landscapers’. She holds Landscape Design qualifications from The University of Melbourne (Burnley campus) and Hadlow College (United Kingdom), and a Master of Education from Deakin University.
